Frequently Asked Questions
Here are a few things people usually ask before coming in.
Booking & Consultations
The easiest way to start is by texting the shop or filling out our inquiry form.
Once we know what you're looking for, we'll help point you in the right direction.
For most custom pieces, cover-ups, larger work, or anything with specific placement, yes.
A consultation helps the artist see what you want, where it’s going, and what will work best.
Yes. Walk-ins are available Monday–Friday from 10am–6pm, depending on artist availability.
Appointments are available any day of the week.
We can sometimes give a rough idea, but we usually need to see the design, size, placement, and detail level before giving an accurate price.
For cover-ups especially, we need to see the existing tattoo in person.
Pricing & Deposits
Most of our artists charge by the hour and each artist has their own hourly rate.
Final cost depends on the artist, size, placement, detail, style, and how long the tattoo takes.
For the most accurate estimate, we recommend starting with a consultation.

No. All deposits are non-refundable.

Accepted payment methods may vary by artist. Some artists may accept cash, card, digital payment, or a mix depending on how they handle their bookings.
We recommend asking your artist directly before your appointment so you know what to bring.
Design & Artwork

We can also help inspire ideas by signing up to our Priority List.
Yes. Cover-ups depend on the size, darkness, age, and placement of the existing tattoo. We’ll need to see it in person before saying what is possible.
Yes, within reason. Small adjustments are normal. Larger changes may require more time or a new consultation depending on the piece.
Before Your Appointment
Eat before your appointment, drink water, and avoid alcohol the night before. Wear clothing that makes the tattoo area easy to access.
Usually yes, but space can be limited. Keep it simple and avoid bringing a group unless the shop approves it first.
Wear something comfortable that gives the artist easy access to the area being tattooed.
For example, shorts for leg tattoos, a tank top for upper arm/shoulder work, or loose clothing for larger pieces.
Aftercare
Your artist will give you aftercare instructions before you leave.
In general, you’ll want to keep it clean, avoid picking or scratching, and keep it out of pools, lakes, hot tubs, and direct sun while healing.
No. Avoid pools, lakes, rivers, hot tubs, and soaking until your tattoo is fully healed.
Text the shop with a clear photo and your concern. We’d rather you ask than guess.
Flash & Custom Tattoos

Bring your idea, references, and placement, and we’ll help guide the next step.
